There is a strong social and personal aspect to the app and you can browse through collections of music that your friends are listening to as a means of discovering new bands and artists. If you spot an embarrassing track in your friends’ collection, a commenting system is in place so you can voice your disdain – or you can vocalize your approval of a shared interest.

There’s also support for podcast and video playback and home screen widgets as well as lock screen widgets give you a great deal of flexibility for interacting with the app. If you have an extensive music collection, the easy to use search facility helps you to home in on the tracks you are looking for and the ability to create playlists and even ringtones are nice touches that give this free music app a beautifully polished feel.
